Product Owner (3-5 years)

We help restaurants get online, help them engage with their customers and help them streamline their operations through suite of products. 6 out of 10 restaurants shut down in less than an year of starting up & this is not because they serve bad food or are expensive but because they are just not run in best possible way and that is what we are trying to change - one restaurant at a time.

We are currently team of 180 people spread across 3 countries - our founding team consists of people from ISB, NSIT, IITs and NITs with very strong past entrepreneurial background and F&B experience. LimeTray counts very successful internet entrepreneurs as its angel investors along with Matrix Partners.
As a Product Owner, you will work with internal stakeholders across departments to deliver on short-term and long-term business goals for your product. The role requires a very high level of ownership and ability to influence multiple stakeholders across sales and product management and revenue operations teams to ensure that your product gets the necessary exposure and resources to drive key product performance metrics: penetration, adoption, churn and customer experience, and product revenue growth:
  1. Product Expertise and Competitor Intelligence
    1. In-depth understanding of your assigned products, features and benefits
    2. Knowledge of competing products - identify customers' purchase decision hierarchy (what features do they value most) and benchmark must-have and good-to-have features, pricing, etc
    3. Analyse trends to ensure product is always relevant and delivers value to customers
  2. Customer-Centric
    1. Own the customer journey and experience through the lifecycle. Analyse data to identify and prioritise improvements such as TATs, adoption, churn, etc
    2. Help define product roadmap and prioritise effort by analysing and presenting the business impact with a focus on delivering value to customers
  3. Sales Enablement
    1. Own training, education and knowledge-building initiatives for sales and account management teams
    2. Develop collateral, case studies, training videos and internal certification programs
    3. Build and present business case internally to ensure product gets priority in incentive schemes, contests, engineering bandwidth, etc
  4. Merchant Education
    1. Drive merchant education initiatives along with the marketing team to ensure accurate expectation-setting, sales and adoption
    2. Develop collateral from product manuals and FAQs to videos to smoothen on-boarding and ensure adoption
  5. Product Business Owner
    1. Own and drive business goals: Monthly Recurring Revenue, Penetration, Adoption, Churn
    2. Work closely with Revenue Ops team to optimise pricing and bundling plans in line with product strategy
    3. Work closely with City GMs, Sales and Account Management teams to track and drive renewals, collections, inactive accounts, adoption, up-selling, penetration and other initiatives in line with product goals
  6. Communication
    1. Define and drive effective internal and external communication across three buckets: 
      1. Knowledge Dissemination
      2. Goal-setting, tracking and review, and
      3. Feedback and action closure

  • Degree: Bachelors. MBA preferred
