Position Summary:

This position owns talent acquisition for our Tech and Product teams. One of our core values is centered around ownership and as an owner, you will be expected to manage the overall talent acquisition for the above teams. This means understanding job responsibilities and business cases from hiring managers, advising them on market fitment, sourcing relevant profiles from both passive and active sources and evaluating them efficiently to provide a high quality shortlist within SLA.


This is not your typical HR role. In fact, while we would love to meet candidates with recruitment experience, we are equally excited to meet techies who want to solve a problem plaguing most organizations today - acquisition of the right talent. As a team, you can expect a high autonomy, high ownership environment which is very supportive of experiments and new ideas.


Your Role Will Involve:

  • Gaining a deep understanding of our Tech stack, talent needs and business context

  • Advising and assisting managers on creating crisp and impactful collaterals (job descriptions, assessment tests etc) which can attract and screen high quality applicants at scale

  • Sourcing right talent from a diverse portfolio - job portals, campuses, talent partners etc. and developing these channels to optimize their productivity

  • Forecast talent needs with hiring managers and optimize for hiring in advance as opposed to hiring reactively

  • Do all of these while running a tight process that can handle scale without breaking


As a successful applicant, you will:

  • Be passionate about recruitment and technology!

  • Have 1+ years of experience in coding in either a JS environment or a RoR development environment, or, Have 2+ years of experience in Tech hiring for a high growth startup (in-house/ on contract) with a background of Computer Science

  • Have a very structured thought process

  • Be willing to hustle around obstacles and get things done.

  • Have been associated with hiring focused initiatives like Hackathons, Campus Code Challenges etc.
